BWY Foundation course / BWYQ level 4 Teacher training course / and Pilates Level 3 teacher training

The British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Level 1 Bookings for 2025. (please contact via email if you would like more information about this course/a BWY pack and application form) The Foundation Course level 1 is run nationally and is suitable for anyone who wishes to develop their personal practice of yoga and widen their experience. It provides a comprehensive grounding in basic practical techniques taught in the context of the philosophy that underpins Yoga. It is an ideal preparation for those who may wish to train as Yoga teachers in the future, but equally suitable for Yoga students who do not wish to teach. Award: BWY Foundation Course 1 Certificate of attendance Length of Course: The course is over 6 months, taking place on one weekend per month. Course is held at The MBS Studio, Barnsley. What our course at MBS covers -: Asana plus many yoga styles and traditions, covering History, Sanskrit, and the eight limbs of yoga, along with the many yoga paths. Exploring the body, mind and breath plus its experiences as we change over the course. Pranayama, Mediation, Kriya, Chanting, Mudra, bandha, chakras, and so much more. Our course has many extras to the normal course, such as A&P, Ayurvedic, Prana, Bhagavad Gita, even exploring the correct and safe way of headstands. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ BWY level 4 Diploma teacher training our next course starts in October 2026 and finishes in2029 . Many pilates courses are quick, and online, not much face to face time, resulting in not enough knowledge, experience ready for teaching in sectors such as injury, illness, which the NHS need Pilates instructors to be ready for. its also harder to get insurance for un accredited courses, to work in a physio setting with patients, this course approved by Active IQ and OfQual is a face to face course, back to the old training days, covering beginners, intermediates, advance, plus rehab, illness and injury full A&P, with props and equipment. Hands on adjusting. 1-2-1's, classes and NHS covered, and real case studies of patients at MBS, learn with real people. If you would like a pack please get in touch.
